Research interests

My research interests are Water Policy, Institutions and Organisations.  My geographical specializations are the former Soviet States in Central  Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan)  and the transboundary Amu and Syr Darya basins. I also conducted  research and led research projects on different aspects of water  management and governance in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Ethiopia.
